While I do have children in the school district, my motivation to run for school board came out of the work I do. I am a mental health professional and I have been sitting with and hearing teachers and students talk about the difficulty navigating school pressures. I have been the only candidate that has been endorsed by the local teachers union.I would like to be selected to represent the people in this community, to advocate for better learning conditions, increased support for teachers, positive working relationships between administration, teachers, students, and the community at large.
